The following is from Englewood FOP Lodge #22 regarding the loss of a FOP Brother from their lodge:
It is with a heavy heart that we are sharing news of the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved brother, Kevin Hartmann. Kevin leaves behind his loving wife, Jennifer, and three children, Zack (13), Ben (11) and Rachel (8).
Kevin served the Englewood Community as a dedicated Police Officer since 2015. Before moving to Colorado, Kevin pursued his passion for service for nearly 20 years as both a police officer and a firefighter in his home state of Illinois. Jenny is also a dedicated public servant, educating high school students in a suburban school district.
The Englewood community and the school district have been very supportive of this family during this difficult time, but this tragedy has obviously created a hardship. We ask that you keep this family, the Englewood Police Department and the Douglas County School District in your thoughts and prayers as we work to get through this.
At the request of Englewood Lodge 22 the Colorado Police Officers Foundation is raising funds and asking for monetary donations to assist Kevin Hartmann’s family with expenses related to his untimely death.
